The 2010 Ryder Cup - Celtic Manor Resort, Newport
In 2010 the Ryder Cup comes to Wales and will be hosted at the Celtic Manor Resort just outside of Newport in South Wales. The competition will take place from the 1st October 2010 to the 3rd of October 2010. There are three first class courses at Celtic Manor as well as floodlit golf academy and an amazing clubhouse making Celtic Manor one of the best golf resorts in Europe. The Ryder Cup is a truly unique event pitching the best golfers from the USA against the best of Europe. The atmosphere at these events is truly amazing with a fantastic rivalry between the two sets of fans.
The European Team have won their last three home matches - Spain (1997), England (2002) and Ireland (2006) and will be looking to maintain this excellent home winning streak.
