Yorkshire and the Humber includes the following counties: South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Yorkshire really has something for everyone, from the history and culture, beautiful countryside, wonderful beaches, vibrant cities, national parks and much more. There is so much natural beauty in this region from the National Parks; the Dales, the North York Moors and the Peak District, to the rolling countryside and valleys to a spectacular coastline. Not to miss is the Howardian Hills which covers 77 square miles of historical parklands and woods. Nidderdale which is regarded as an area of outstanding beauty and great to explore all the picturesque villages and shops.

Key cities and towns in this county include Leeds with Victorian architecture, rich heritage and a lot of energy. York, with its many attractions, museums, craft shops and cobbled streets. Sheffield is one of Europe’s greenest cities as it has so many parks and woodlands. Sheffield is also great for shopping and eating out. Other cities include Bradford with its many museums and attractions and Hull, located on the river Humber.  You will find a wealth of culture, shopping and a great nightlife in this vibrant waterside city.

Yorkshire has an amazing coastline with award winning beaches, a great range of restaurants, nature reserves and of course Scarborough which received an award this year for the most enterprising place in Europe.
