If you are looking for a place with a colourful history; breathtaking scenery; beautiful sandy beaches; rugged coastline; awe-inspiring mountains, tradition; a great nightlife and islands – then the West of Ireland is the place for you.

Galway is both a city and a county. The city – known as the City of the Tribes is a vibrant university town and one of the fastest growing cities in Europe. It has a dynamic nightlife, is rich in history and tradition, and has many sights and attractions. Coming into Galway Bay; you pass the Aran Islands, a group of three islands which can be reached by Air or Ferry.

Mayo is north of Galway and has 13 Blue Flag Beaches.  It is also one of Ireland's most picturesque counties with small towns and villages and the ideal location for watersports. Attractions include Croagh Patrick which is Ireland’s holy mountain with the beautiful National Famine Memorial at its foot. Westport House Estate, Knock Shrine and Ballintubber Abbey.

Roscommon which is an inland county has many treasures which include castles, stately homes and wonderful landscapes, rivers, lakes and forest parks. Over 200miles of the Great river Shannon runs through Roscommon and marks the east county border.
