County Londonderry

County Londonderry is located in the northwest and lies on the west bank of the River Foyle. It is also situated on the border with County Donegal in the Republic of Ireland.  Popular seaside resorts in this county include: Portstewart, Magherafelt and Castlerock.

You will find beautiful landscapes in this county along with many important historical buildings.

The city of Derry which is one of five cities in Northern Ireland is a 6th Century City full of history and culture and has 17th Century defensive Walls which have never been breached. There are also numerous museums, galleries and theatre.  Of particular interest are the Tower Museum, the Museum of Free Derry, the Harbour Museum and the Workhouse Museum.
