The Scottish Borders
Covering eighteen hundred square miles, the Scottish Boarder is the gateway to Scotland from the south.
You will find rolling hills, moorland, rich agricultural plains, secluded coves, fishing villages and rocky coastline.
There are also a number of castles, stately homes, museums, and abbeys, a country estate, forests and woods and wildlife parks.
The Scottish Borders is a great place for people who love the outdoors – especially for walkers and cyclists.
There are also great fishing spots, 4x4 off-road tracks, golf courses, horse riding and clay pigeon shooting.
There are four nature reserves in the area; namely: St Abbs Head, Pease Dean, Grey Mare's Tail Nature Reserve and Glenholm Wildlife Project.
