Ceredigion can be found on the West coast and borders onto Gwynned to the North, Carmarthenshire to the South, Powys to the East and Pembrokeshire to the South West. The 50 miles of coastline here has an abundance of lovely sandy beaches with turquoise blue seas especially from New Quay to Aberporth.

The seas here are very clean and are home to bottle-nosed dolphins that stay here all summer long. Inland, to the East, you will find the Cambrian Mountains.

The population of Ceredigion is relatively small, around 75,000, but has seen a big rise in numbers in the last 15 years. Ceredigion is also home to Aberystwyth University and the University of Wales.
